Jewish Living Online
An introduction to Jewish life in Britain – culture, religion, and history. We will explore the diversity within the Jewish community, both in the UK and globally, learn about Jewish traditions, practices, and ways of life, and understand the Jewish connection to the land of Israel. You will also learn about the particular forms of racism and prejudice that Jews face and how you can be an ally in the fight against it.
This course is part of a global education initiative between ADL and the Board of Deputies of British Jews to advance education about Jews, Jewish identity, culture, religion, and diversity, as part of our shared commitment to fighting antisemitism, bigotry, and hate.
Anti-Defamation League
ADL fights all forms of antisemitism and bias, using innovation and partnerships to drive impact. A global leader in combating antisemitism, countering extremism and battling bigotry wherever and whenever it happens, ADL works to protect democracy and ensure a just and inclusive society for all.
Board of Deputies of British Jews
Established in 1761, the Board of Deputies is the only democratically elected, cross-communal, representative body in the Jewish community. It comprises over 300 deputies directly elected by the synagogues and communal organisations they represent, from congregations to youth movements, and social welfare charities to regional councils.
